Peer Review Process
World Journal of Corporate Governance and Finance (WJCGF) maintains a transparent and rigorous peer-review system to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published research.
Review Model
WJCGF follows a double-blind peer-review process, in which:
- Authors do not know the identities of the reviewers.
- Reviewers do not know the identities of the authors.
This process supports an objective, fair, and unbiased assessment of submitted manuscripts.
Review Stages
1. Initial Screening
Submitted manuscripts are initially screened by the editorial team to determine whether they are within the scope of the journal, appropriately formatted, and meet the minimum standards for academic quality.
2. Peer Review Assignment
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to qualified reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area of the submission.
3. Review Evaluation
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on factors including:
- Originality and novelty
- Relevance to the journal's scope
- Research methodology and its appropriateness
- Accuracy and validity of the research
- Clarity and structure
- Contribution and significance to the field
4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' comments and the overall assessment of the manuscript, the editor may make one of the following decisions:
- Accept the manuscript
- Request minor or major revisions
- Reject the manuscript
5. Revision Process
When revisions are requested, authors are expected to revise their manuscripts and resubmit them within the specified period, addressing the reviewers' comments and recommendations.
6. Final Decision
After the revised manuscript has been evaluated, the editor or editorial board will make the final decision regarding publication.
Review Timeline
The peer-review process typically takes 2–4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, and the time required to complete the evaluation.
